Arachnids

Japanese Garden Spider (Araneus ventricosus) [17]

“This Arachnid is a member of the Araneus family. It can be found in gardens of Australia, Asia, North and South America. This spider is from the orb weaver spider family, which means it can spin large, circular flat webs that can be up to six feet in size.”

Vinegarroon (Thelyponidae) [21]

“This Arachnid is a member of the Thelyphonidae family. It lives throughout the world and can be found in tropical, subtropical climates and in hot and dry areas. The vinegarroon looks like a scorpion, but it's not. Its tail doesn't have a stinger, but a whip. The whip gives it the name “whip scorpion.”
