This book was printed on recyclable materials in 1998 by Arnoldo Monadri Editore, S.p.A., based in Milan, Italy. It highlights 60 artifacts and served as a guide to their location and description within the museum.

This is the second edition and published in 1894 by P. F. Pettibone & Company, Printers in Chicago, Illinois. It served as a guide to the location and description of the artifacts contained within the museum, which at that time was located in Jackson Park, Chicago in a building which currently houses the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry.
