Birds

Domestic Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo)

Turkeys are predatory birds. Their beaks are specially designed to prey on insects and larger prey such as mice and snakes. They do not have external ear structures. They have small holes, located just behind the eyes. They have amazing hearing and can hear sounds from as far as a mile away.
