The story revolves around the four Bobbsey siblings: twins Nan and Bert, and twins Flossie and Freddie. During their summer vacation, they stumble upon an old treasure map hidden in the attic. Excited by the prospect of unearthing hidden fortunes, the young sleuths embark on an exhilarating journey to solve the map’s riddles and locate the buried treasure. The book was written by “Laura Lee Hope” which was a pseudonym for a number of children’s authors working for the Stratemeyer Syndicate. This edition was published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1929.
